Body language is a non-verbal communication you do with your actions and postures it depicts your attitude and feelings for someone and something. When someone walks in on you where was your arm? What expression comes to your face when you see him?

Sometimes you are feeling frustrated and bored other times you feel excited and energetic but some of these feelings are the ones you don’t want people to know about but your body language deceives you and shows it.

Understanding body language is very important it always comes handy to judge people when they come to interview for the job. Similarly, if you are afraid to show your feelings or are too much aware of your body language you likely to make blunders.

Smile a lot yes A LOT! It will make you more trustworthy and obviously, it attracts attention too. Smiling is good for health and it relieves stress levels you feel good about situations and yourself. It releases some happy hormones in the body which diminish stress and make you excited about things.

Smiling is a friendly gesture so people believe you when you say something to them while smiling gently. Your productivity increases greatly and you perform your tasks well. Even when you feel sad to make yourself smile it will automatically make you happy and increase your stamina to deal with the worst situations.

After waking up in the morning stand in front of the mirror and smile its bit foolish but do it for few minutes rest of your day will be spent in a happy mood.

Tip number two: strong posture

For strong confident posture you need to sit with your back straight and your rear must be against the back of chair, feet must be flat on floor and slightly bend your knees at right angle, this must be your posture when sitting and when standing you should stand straight with your shoulders, knees, and hips straight.

Sitting and standing like that with strengthening your muscles and ligaments too. It is also helpful in a backache and neck pains it prevents muscle pain and keeps your bones in proper alignment. Good posture is helpful in proper breathing and allows your internal functions to work properly. When you stand high and poised it shows your confidence.

Tip number three: poses indication of power

When you sit in some specific pose it raises levels of testosterone and lowers stress hormones. Certain poses help prevent cortisol and it improves your performance and increases your success at work and with your colleagues and clients.

In some poses, you open up your body and take more space which makes you more confident and you feel powerful. When you experience powerlessness and low self-esteem try these poses they will surely help with your confidence. Try practicing the poses every day after some time you will feel it natural.

Tip number four: engaging body language

When you are engaged in an argument and have to explain your side of story do some simple things as a body language and you will see people attract more towards you try to smile often, nod in agreement, use open gestures and control movements and expressions, with these you will send powerful messages to other person and win them over.

Try shaking hands and saying thank you these are considered the good postures and used to seal the deal. If you want to win the situation or reach an argument or win some over practice your encounter beforehand by this body language. Mirroring actions and expressions also helps with the big event coming up.

Tip number five: arms and legs

Arms and legs are very important in the body language when you cross your arm you are saying you feel defensive and closed off. When you cross your legs away it means you dislike them or you are feeling discomfort. When you cross at the ankle you are holding back something important and not expressing it. When you clasp your arms behind your back it means you are bored and angry.

Arms clasped over breast shows shyness or weakness. When you tap your fingers or fidget with them it means you are impatient and frustrated. Give special attention to your arms and legs in certain situations note what are your actions while you talk to other people.

Continuously change the position of your arms and legs put your hands in lap or by your sides. You can cross your legs at knees but don’t cross your arms.

Tip number six: firm handshake

You should have a firm and strong handshake with confidence don’t crush other person hand but just a few up and down shakes and eye contact for few seconds. The lumpy handshake is not recommended and it will show you weak. Handshake also depicts trust so it must be appropriate.

In addition to above tips your eye contact must be strong too and by managing your body language effectively you will win specific goals and you will receive positive feedback in return. Confident body language makes you happy and content.
